The fans of the General Hospital saw a dramatic turn of events in the June 3 episode. Jose surprised everyone with a stand in Michael and Willow’s custody. His testimony revealed that Wilo used Michael’s recovery as a leverage from Burns. This revelation shifted the court’s dynamics and raised new questions about the loyalty and trust of the family.
In the initial scenes of the detention hearing, Dianne Fuller argued that Michael was entitled to complete custody of his children. He called Carly and followed as a witness. Carly recalled how Willow and Drew tried to take the children late at night.
He said it was difficult to take care of tired children and Michael did not authorize the visit to Washington, DC Chase confirmed that they were ordered to remove children from Willow. He admitted that Willow had a connection with Michael, who supported the argument that his decision was compromised.
Dante Falconi gave the next testimony. He explained that Michael was injured by the device at Sunny’s penthouse. Rick Lennsing, Representing Wilo, cross-worthy dances about Michael’s previous involuntary mangelotter’s punishment. Dante clarified that Michael acted in defense of her sister Christina.
Tracy Quartermine again took a stand. He defended Michael’s character and criticized the participation of Drew Can. Rick forced Tracy to accept that she was once accused of kidnapping, but insisted that the hearing was about Willow’s fitness as a mother.
The most shocking moment of the episode came when Diana called Joss to testify. Because she was not in the original witness list, Rick managed to stop Diana from preparing her properly. At the stand, Jose said Wilo used Michael’s Burns as a bargained chip.
He claimed that Wilo refused to see the family Michael until he detained his children. Jose also said that Drew supported Willow’s strategy. Rick tried to doubt by asking about Carly’s role in removing the children. Jose replied that Carley had a valid court order and the children were at Nina’s house when they took them.
Earlier in the episode, Joss arrived in the metro court pool to join Tina and Kai. Emma faced Joss on the previous job dispute. Jose met Henry Dalton and his colleagues, Sidwell and Jordan. Henry praised Joss for passing his screening and revealed that he was working on clean energy research funded by Sidwell. Jordan agreed to live and learn more about the project.
In the quartermine mansion, the Gio Spencer returned to collect his belongings. He faced Brooke Lynn about being given as a child. Brooke Lynn told that he put him on to adopt him with love. Lois and Gloria defended their decision that they would not first tell Gio as their adopted mother was dying. Brooke Lynn, hurt by their privacy, asked them to leave. Gio went out, uncertain he could trust anyone.
In Port Charles, Alexis Davis held a stressful meeting with Marco. He inquired about possible money. Reducing concerns related to dolos funds. Alexis assured him that all investments were valid.
When Rick called, Alexis arrived in the courtyard to prevent Christina from testifying. Christina recently admitted the court’s presence that triggered painful memories and stayed with Alexis instead of returning to the stand.
Meanwhile, at Sunny Corinthos’ penthouse, Dante apologized for earlier tensions. He left to participate in Michael’s court case. Later, Lois informed Sunny that he and Gloria would return to Bensonhahrst. He said that Gio needed a place and support from Sunny. Sunny promised to see him.
