OnePlus Ace 5 and Ace 5 Pro have been in the smartphone market for about half year, but now the company refreshes the series with two more models – Ace 5 racing and Ace 5 Ultra.
These new smartphones are completely different in glasses and designs, but keep the overall tone of flagship performance on sub -flagship prices.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra
Ultra is literally translated as “supreme”, and technically the most powerful MediaTek is OnePlus smartphone-it comes with 9400+. Here, we have 6.83 “OLED display with 120 Hz refresh rates and slightly more than a full HD+.
The chipset is combined with 12 GB or 16 GB LPDDR5X RAM and 256 GB, 512 GB, or 1 TB UFS 4.0 storage. They are divided into five separate memory combinations to cover a wide value spectrum.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra has a modest camera setup: an F/1.8 lens, 50 MP main shooter with AF and OIS, together with a 112-degree FOV with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle shooter. The front camera is an original 16 MP shooter sitting behind a punch hole.
The phone comes with a dedicated side button that can be programmed to act as a shortcut for apps – alarm, torch, night mode, translator or pre -determined set of AI.
OnePlus equipped Ultra with a G1 connectivity chip that improves Wi-Fi speed and reliability by up to 33%than contestants. It also has a multi -layered cooling architecture along with 7,300 sqm vapor chamber.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra battery has 6,700 mAh capacity. It comes with 100W wired charging support and also provides bypass charging. The charger should be offered 3 hours of gaming in just 10 minutes, while the battery should be filled from 0 to 100%on 39 minutes.
OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra
OnePlus comes in China with Oppo’s Kalros 15 and In-House AI assistant, which is only available in the domestic market. Its colors are blue, black and titanium silver (with a cool striped design on the back), and the initial price is CNY2,499 (12/256 GB). The most expensive version is 16 GB RAM + 1 TB storage and cost CNY 3,799.
OnePlus Ace 5 Racing
OnePlus Ace 5 Racing comes with 9400E chipset. It has RAM and storage options similar to ultra, sending 1 TB variants.
The cameras on the back are downgramed into 50 MP Main and 2 MP B&W sensors. The selfie camera retains its 16 MP sensor.
Ace 5 racing is built around 6.77 “AMOLED panel with full HD+ resolution and up to 120 Hz refresh rates.
OnePlus decided not to accompany the dedicated G1 connectivity chip, but at least one sophisticated cooling solution (although not as good as one on ultra), including 7,000 square mm vapor chamber.
Excel on Ultra with Ace 5 racing battery capacity – This brings the largest cell in OnePlus smartphone – 7,100 mAh. It charges “only” at 80W and it comes with bypass charging.
This phone runs with Coloros 15 and some AI features, such as 4K upscaling in video and erasing objects in photos.
OnePlus Ace 5 Racing
OnePlus Ace 5 racing is available in white, black and mint green. The initial price is CNY1,799 for 12/256 GB.
We do not hope that this phone will be launched outside China, but we would like to be surprised by OnePlus and Oppo.
