Bollywood actor Unni Mukundan attracted attention as news about his alleged attack on his manager. Reports suggest that the actor was later angry at the praise of Tovino Thomas’s film Narita, who is successfully performing at the box office.
Amidst all the discussions, here is a throbac for the time when Towino praised Unni’s most violent film Marco, which was released back in 2024.
Tovino Thomas tagged Marco a ‘good film’
Unni Mukundan’s Marco made a lot of controversy after its release, on screen due to its violent nature and scenes. Despite being a hit at the box office, the film continued to receive a lot of flying due to this aspect.
Subsequently, it was Towino Thomas who praised the film and addressed the real reason why it tasted success.
He had said, “Marco is a good film. Because of the performance and also because it is a technically good film, violence seemed reliable. I don’t think the film just became a hit because of violence.”
The L2 Empuraan actor further mentioned, “Any spirit, if it is expressed effectively to the audience, the film will be successful.”
An FIR was filed against Unni Mukundan to attack the manager
Till now fast forward, the manager of Unni Mukundan has filed a complaint against him in the Infopark station as well as the Phephka.
He claimed that the Marco actor was unhappy with the flat response for his film Gate Set Baby and was unhappy that there was no further film that was coming in his way. The actor is known for his evil nature and behavioral issues, especially with his employees.
The manager further stated that Unni Mukundan attacked physically and even threatened him on social media to praise Narita.
No other comment from the Malayalam actor’s team has been made yet on the ongoing debate.
