According to the block deal data available on the NSE, SBI Life Insurance Company has taken 74.7474 crore units or 8.933 % of NHIT.
Vidyaniti LLP also bought 49.4949 crore units, which according to exchange data is 8.3 percent unit-holding in the National Highway Infra Trust.
The average per unit is Rs. Units were taken at a cost of 133.57, taking the combined transaction value to Rs 1,100.61 crore.
Meanwhile, according to data from the NHAI National Stock Exchange (NSE), the LOAD floated 8.24 crore units of NHIT at the same price.
On Monday, the units of the National Highway Infra Trust closed on a flat note of Rs 133.50 on the NSE.
The Infrastructure Investment Trust (Invit) Sponsored by the National Highway Authority India (NHAI) was established in 2021 to support the government’s national monetization pipeline of the National Highway Infra Trust (NHIT).
In March, SBI mutual fund sold 7.7 per cent in NHIT for 815 crore.
