Airtel Payments Bank says Q4 profit is 138% to Rs 26 crore

Airtel Payments Bank said on Thursday that its profit increased by 138 percent a year to Rs. 26 million, which is excited by the adoption and use of the ‘Safe Second Account’ offer, and is a diverse growth in urban transport and rural business. In the fourth quarter ended March 2025, revenue was Rs. 726 crore, which was 34.7 percent in the same period last year.

According to Airtel Payments Bank, “In Q4 Fiscal Year 25, the bank experienced significant scales-ups to adopt and use our safe second account offer, strengthening our position as a digital-only bank of choice in the country.”

The bank said it “its urban transportation, B2B and rural business opportunities have raised various growth, contributing to strong gradual growth and year-by-year influence.”

For the whole year, the revenue is Rs. 2,709 crore, which is 47.5 percent over the previous year. Net profit increased to Rs. 63 crore, while EBITD has increased 64 percent to Rs. 299 crore.

      It also sees the high demand for NCMC on-the-go cards, with over 2.5 million users. In the B2B space, it is seeing strong growth in Omchallen Digital Payment with top consolidations and enables seamless transit payments to five large metro networks, including the DMRC.

      Airtel Payments Bank said it processed about 12 billion transactions annually and extends services in three of four villages, digitizing cash worth Rs 8,000 crore monthly with 6,200 plus corporate partners.
