Earlier, Pinkvilla specifically stated that Paresh Rawal has been filed for Rs 25 crore by the production house of Hera Ferry 3 to get out of the film. Now, Akshay Kumar’s production house, Cape of Good Films LLP, issued an official statement, which was confirmed. The production house said that Rawal formally gave his commitment to the film by accepting Rs 11 lakh as part of his remuneration.
Subsequently, he shot a 3-minute footage of the teaser for the film and planned creative discussion and co-stars, including Kumar and Sunil Shetty. The Times of India quoted the legal team handling the matter as saying, “There was no concern about creative issues by Mr. Rawal at any point during this period.”
The official statement of the production house also wrote, “It is only after these important investments and scheduling commitments that Shri Rawal suddenly tried to get out of the project, cited as unclear and creative differences.” Therefore, the manufacturers feel that Paresh’s “justification is one later, a cute film is inspired to incite maximum disruption on the franchise and goodwill. It is inspired to reduce the command.”
Since his “sudden and inappropriate return” has caused serious financial loss to the company and disrupted the schedule, and endanger the film’s speed, the company demanded Rs 25 crore as a loss.
In the statement, the team mentioned that if the OMG actor fails to meet his demand within seven days, the company would be forced to carry forward proper legal measures, including civil and criminal action.
It was also said that the production house has the right to seek prohibition relief and senior actor to be personally responsible for “co-actor, director, and third party for any loss, which is involved in the project due to their sudden and unilateral return.”
For unknown, the most awaited film, Hera Pheri 3, will be directed by Priyadarshan. For more updates on this matter, stay on Pinkvilla!
