The thug life directed by Mani Ratnam, currently the most hyp-up is one of the upcoming projects. The gangster drama is slapped for a dramatic release on 5 June and the promotion for the film is going in full swing.
Recently, during a pre-relaid event for the film in Mumbai, Kamal Haasan made a major revelation about the OTT release of the thug life after completing his dramatic run.
While most films typically opt for a digital release, when the film is completed four weeks in theaters, for the thug life, this window will be for 8 weeks.
For Anward, streaming platform Netflix had already announced an official partner for the OTT release of the film.
Confirming the same in this incident, Kamal Haasan said, “This is not even an experiment. It was a practical thing. And I am happy that OTT agreed. We were sitting together. It was not a conversation.”
He added, “This is a plan that other people may probably follow and make the industry healthy. And we are happy that we were the first to take advantage of the opportunity.”
Well, the thug life has already been censored by CBFC and has obtained a UA authentication, as well as only two CUSS words have been muted. The film has a 2 -hour and 45 -minute lock and loaded runtime.
Apart from Kamal Haasan, the film also includes Silambanson TR, Trisha Krishnan, Abhirami, Sanya Malhotra, Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Aishwarya Lakshmi, Ashok Selvan, Jujee George and others.
Recently, the trailer of thug life was also revealed. The gripping clip captures citrus equations between a father and a son, which makes the story of the story in a Potiling Gangster drama.

The film is jointly written by Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan. AR Rahman has composed the music score of the film.
