Paresh Rawal, a few days after Priyadarshan’s exit from Priyadarshan’s Hera Feri 3, Pinkvila specifically informed you that Akshay Kumar sued an experienced actor on his ‘unprofessional behavior’. Recently, the filmmaker also defended Kumar’s production house’s decision, stating that he had every right to do so.
Talking with Hindustan Times, Priyadarshan addressed the rift between Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. The director mentioned that he had the right to take legal steps, given that his hard -earned money has been invested in the film. He also revealed that the actor legally bought the rights of producer Feroz Nadidwala’s film.
“I don’t know why this happened because Paresh did not inform us. Before starting the film, Akshay asked me to investigate with both Paresh and Sunil and I did both and were on the ship,” Priyadarshan said, who has collaborated with Paresh and Akshay in the upcoming film Bhoot Bungalow.
The filmmaker said that he had nothing to lose, but Kumar has invested his money, forcing him to take strict action. “Paresh Rawal has not talked to me till date,” the filmmaker was quoted saying this.
In addition, a source, familiar with the legal proceedings in the case, also told the publication that Rawal has displayed a clear disregard for professional integrity or commercial morality. The actor further said that if he did not want to do the film, he would have refused to sign the legal contract, accept the signature amount and spend so much money on the shoot.
On the other hand, Paresh Rawal reacted to the allegations, saying, “I don’t know about it yet.”
Earlier this year, on his birthday, Priyadarshan announced the Hera Ferri 3 with Akshay Kumar, Sunil Shetty and Paresh Rawal. However, a few days ago, Rawal confirmed his exit from the franchise and assured that it was not due to ‘creative differences’.
On the other hand, Akshay Kumar’s production house has sent a legal notice to Rawal, claiming a loss of Rs 25 crore for the amount invested in the film, which is now lost due to his unprofessional behavior.
Between Hera Ferri 3 Fiasco, Akshay announced a wrapping on Bhuta Bungalow a few days ago.
