Actor Sunil Shetty and his daughter Athiya Shetty praised cricketer KL Rahul after making history in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The batsmen became the first player to score a centenary for three different franchises in IPL history.

Athiya re -shared a post of her husband Rahul by the capitals of Delhi. The caption read, “Fifth IPL Sa Beast’s bat.” Posting it again, Athiya added only one red heart emoji.

On the other hand, Sunil posted a picture of Rahul and wrote, “A storm in disguise (Blue Heart Emoji) (SIC).”

KL Rahul reached the milestone during his team’s IPL match against Gujarat Titans (GT) at Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday, where he scored 143 runs. It marked his fifth IPL century. Earlier, Rahul had registered every two centuries every two centuries while playing for Punjab Kings (PBK) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). He has not created a century during his stent with Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) or Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Overall, it was his seventh century in T20 cricket.

Athiya and KL Rahul got married in 2023. The couple welcomed their first child, a baby girl in March 2025.
