Actor Kristen Stewart began a powerful direction with ‘The Chronology of Water’, which premiered at the 78th Cannes Film Festival on Friday. The film, an emotional and artistic victory, received a rauting to stand for four minutes, leading to many people in the audience.
According to reports, deep personal film brought many audiences into tears. The lead role starring Emojen Poot, ‘The Cronology of Water’ is based on the acclaimed 2011 memoir of Lidia Yukenwich.
The story follows a young woman’s journey to recover her voice as she navigates a turbulent past through writing and swimming. The film sensitively examines subjects of sexuality, trauma, and survival, which delays the experiences of Yukanwich with abuse, addiction and intense losses.

Stewart first announced ‘The Cronology of Water’ in 2018. In addition to Poots, the film has a steller supportive actors including Thora Burch, Earl Cave, Michael App, Susanaah Flood, Kim Gordon and Jim Belushi.
