Janhvi Kapoor, Ishaan Khatar, and Vishal Jethwa starrer Movie Homebound is led by the prestigious Cannes Film Festival in Hombound 2025. The team has expressed its happiness about this achievement. In the meantime, Vishal gave a glimpse in his bond with Janhvi. He revealed what he was surprised about him. He said that he laughed at his ‘middle-class jokes’.
In a recent interview with Filmfare, Vishal Jethwa was asked about his equation with homebound co-star Janhvi Kapoor. In response, she called the actress ‘Amazing’ and revealed that she never felt anyone that she was ‘Janhvi Kapoor’.
Vishal further shared, “Very hi is regular and normal divided sakti, the middle class joke is a hurry (she can talk very regularly and normally, she laughs at middle class jokes).” He revealed that he unexpectedly enjoyed his jokes and liked his understanding.
The actor mentioned that he initially thought that Janhvi would only like English jokes. He said, “Shuru Meen Mujha felt that this is my class, it will be a crush, but she will be happy, but she was happy (initially I felt that she is taking my class and she is probably not enjoying it, but she was happy with me).”
Vishal said that he really enjoyed working with Janhvi. He believed that he was quite ‘acceptable’.
The 78th Cannes Film Festival began on 13 May 2025 and will be held till 24 May. Neeraj Ghaywan’s second feature film, homebound, will be a premiere in a certain category of United Nations.
The makers have announced the film’s premiere date in Cannes as May 21, 2025. With a happy poster of Ishaan Khatar and Vishal Jethwa, the announcement states, “Some bonds carry us. 2025.”
The film is produced by Karan Johar, other Poonwal, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra. Marizke Desuza and Melita Torskan du Plantar are co-producers, while Martin scorerses are executive manufacturer.
