Scarlet Johansson responded to Oscar to snubbing ‘Impossible Movie’ Avengers Endege
Actress Scarlett Johansson has reacted to the Oscar 2020 to the Snowboud of MCU. He called the science-fi action-thriller a ‘impossible film’.

‘Avengers: Andge’ has a huge fan base that holds it as one of the best MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) films of all time. Despite being one of the most commercially successful superhero films, the Marvel Science-Fi Action-Thunder was not nominated for the best portrait at the Oscar. Actor Scarlett Johansson, who played the role of Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff, reacted to the 92nd Academy Awards Snow and called it an impossible film.
Expressing her disappointment in an interview Vanity FairJohansson said, “How the film was not nominated for the Oscar? It was an impossible film that should not work that actually works as a film – and at the same time, it is one of the most successful films ever.”
While the Avengers: Andge, the endgeam secured a nomination for the best visual effects, it was not considered for any other category. However, the late actor Chadwick Bosman starrer Black Panther (2018) was nominated for the best picture. It was also nominated for Best Costume, Best Soundtrack and Best Production Designs.

Earlier, veteran filmmaker Martin Scoresce, in an interview Empire MCU films were compared to “Theme Park”. He had said, “I don’t see them. I tried, you know?”
Filmmaker James Cameron also expressed “tired” from watching superhero films. In an interview with IndivireHe said, “Come, friends, Hypergonadal are other stories to tell without men besides men, do two hours of death and are ruining cities in this process. It likes it, Oi!”
Marvel is currently focusing on its upcoming project, The Fantastic Four: The First Steps. Earlier, Thunderbolts and Captain America: Brave New World was released in 2025, which received mixed reactions from the audience and critics. MCU is also gearing up for the new Avengers film, Doomsde. Once again on the board with Robert Downey Junior, fans expect a revival of the Marvel Superhero era.
The Fantastic Four: The First Steps release on July 25, 2025. Avengers: Doomsde is expected to release in 2026.
