The reputed ‘Ram Lakhan’ pair, Jackie Shroff and Anil Kapoor, are all set to re -introduce Shah Rukh Khan’s much awaited action thriller, ‘King’ again on the big screen. The film, which is about to start filming on 20 May, marks the first cooperation of the veteran Trio, Shah Rukh, Shroff and Kapoor since the 1995 blockbuster ‘Trimurti’.

While the details of Jackie Shroff’s role remain under wrapping, apart from the actors, he has joined the excitement around the film. Anil Kapoor has been confirmed to play Shah Rukh’s handler and mentor, who guides her character through a gritty, high-dot story. Shah Rukh Khan’s film will be seen in an avatar to never be seen.

Directed by filmmaker Siddharth Anand, ‘King’ will have a star-stad dress including Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Arshad Warsi and Abhay Verma. The producers of the film are targeting for a 100-day shoot schedule at several places, which begins in Mumbai before going to Europe for a major international leg.

Set for a dramatic release between October and December 2026, the film will have an exciting cooperation between Sachin -Jigar, who will compose the song, and Anirudh Ravichandar, who will handle the background score.
