On June 19, Deepika Padukone attended the pre-release event of her film Kalki 2898 AD in Mumbai. She wore a stunning black dress for the occasion which she paired with high heels. A user on Instagram took her to task and questioned her decision of wearing heels during pregnancy, especially when she was already tall.
In response, another influencer made a reel in which she supported Deepika, saying that she is not a child who needs others to tell her what to wear. The influencer said that Deepika can make decisions based on her convenience and does not need anyone else’s suggestions.
Actress Richa Chadha, who is pregnant herself, commented under the reel, saying, “No uterus, no knowledge.”
