Aamir Khan has made high and ups of his career. But none of them stopped him from continuing to work in Bollywood. Over the years, he has come up with strategies that are working for him and for whom he works. In an interview recently, the superstar said that when he does not make his films profit, he does not charge the money, such as in the case of Lal Singh Chafdha.
Aamir Khan’s rich filmography speaks of that kind of artist. Since he has tried his hand in acting, direction and production, Khan knows how much effort is made in making a blockbuster hit film. Therefore, he worked on a strategy, which does not put pressure on the producers with whom he is working.
Like the old times, when the artists performed, after giving their work, the audience was asked for money, Aamir also asked for his payment when his films were earning profit. Talking to ABP Live about implementing this strategy in his life, Mr. Perfectionist said that he follows the same concept in his career.
He expressed that when he is working on a film, he does not take money from producers while making the film. “Muje Lagta Hai’s film will go to Jab, tab Muje Kamna Khane. (I think when the film works, I make money then).”
He further said that his payment depends on the benefits of the project. Khan said, “Benefits Nhi Hota Hah Toh Mujhey Payment NHI Get Jayas Lal Singh Chafdha. (When there is no benefit, I do not get my payment like Lal Singh Chafdha)” Khan said that if his film does not do good business at the box office, then only he should take responsibility for it.
When the host said that their way of working could encourage the makers not to pay the artists for their hard work, the experienced Bollywood actor was in a hurry to tell that everyone had a way to work and think. Also, when he is on a project, he does not think he has been working on the project for a few days, therefore, he should be paid for him.
However, there are people in the industry who work very professionally and take money for the number of days working on the film, whether their film has worked or not.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Aamir will be seen next time in the ground cross. He is also excited to start work on his dream project Mahabharata.
