Referring to Karthi’s acclaimed performance in ‘Meijahagan’, Suria said, “I cannot be like Karthi. I cannot do ‘Mayajhagan’.” The comment attracted attention from fans, many of which appreciated Suriya’s humility. Suriya also accepted his shortcomings as an actor, accepting that he sometimes overboard with his performance.

Suriya is currently basic in the box office collections of ‘Retro’ directed by Karthik Subbaraj.
