Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Ananya Pandey and R. Madhavan-Starr Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Jalianwala Bagh hit theaters today (18 April). Just before its release, a star-staded screening was held in Mumbai. Post screening, Vicky Kaushal resorted to social media to review the film and highly praised it. He called it a ‘absolute class’.

Taking Instagram stories today (April 18), Vicky Kaushal dropped a poster of Kesari Chapter 2 with a long note after watching the film. He wrote, “An untold story told with a lot of patience, honesty and sensitivity! It is a hell of a directorial debut, Karan Singh Tyagi. Kudos to Karan Johar, Amritpal Singh Bindra, Anand Tiwari, Apoorva Mehta, Other Poonwala to bring out of our history.”

Further praising the stars, he said, “Akshay Kumar, R. Madhavan, Ananya Pandey, Amit Sial. Normal class. Next magal! Do not remember !!!”

Meanwhile, Kesari Chapter 2: The untold story of Jalianwala Bagh has officially come to theaters today, which is aligning with the 106th anniversary of the Jalianwala Bagh massacre. This powerful legal drama revolves after the 1919 Jalianwala Bagh massacre, highlighting the low-term chapter of India’s independence movement.

It is about Chettur Shankaran Nair, a brave barrister who challenged the British rule in a court rather than a battlefield. The role is depicted by Akshay Kumar. In the film, Ananya Pandey and R. Madhavan also plays lead roles.

Directed by Karan Singh Tyagi, the book is inspired by The Case that Hila The Empire: One Mange Fight for the Truth, written by Nair’s great -grandfather Raghu Paint and his wife, Pushpa Palat.

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has provided the ‘A (Adult)’ rating to Kesari Chapter 2: The Untold Story of Zelianwala Bagh. If their website is known, the film’s runtime is 135 minutes and 6 seconds, which means 2 hours, 15 minutes and 6 seconds.
