Hollywood actor Demi Moore lost the Best Actress Award to Mickey Madison for the film ‘Anora’ by his reviewers in 2025. In an interview, Moore reacted to it, stating that he had a feeling about Mickey’s victory. He was nominated for the academy for his 2024 film The Substance.

In a recent interview with Time magazineMoore talked about the moment she knew that she was not going to win. “I bowed down and whispered my manager,” I think it’s going to Mickey, “he said. “I don’t know why I knew, but I did.”

Her intuition would have helped her to prepare for the announcement, as she was very calm and grounded. He said, “I was very concentrated and calm. I didn’t feel it. I did not feel any of those types. I just trusted, and trust what is being believed.”

After the 97th Academy Awards ceremony, Demi expressed her gratitude through her Instagram, where she also mentioned Mickey Madison in an extended caption.

Demi wrote, “As the season of this award comes close, I am overwhelmed by gratitude to this journey. It’s a lifetime ride, and we are starting now! My team, my fellow nominees, and everyone is filled with this experience with happiness and light (SIC).”

He continued, “Thanks to the artists, crew, and fans of @Trythesubstance – @isimostar and @Coralie_fargeat It has been such an honor to work with you, learn from you, and celebrate this film with you.
