To detect the X8 series for the unveiling of Oppo in China, we had the pleasure to spend a few minutes with the new Find X8s and find the X8s+. This is our first impression of them!
The Find X8S completes the pair series of models and sits under the all-out Find X8 Ultra. But despite the names that the name can suggest, both the X8s and the X8s+ Finding are both flagship phones.
Both are also small and, in turn, are easily managed in hand, especially X8s. Find X8 has a 6.32 -inch display, and is only 150.6 mm long and weighs below 180 grams.

Here is a quick look at the difference of size between two models. Both models come in different types of finish. Find X8S+ has a matte frame in black or purple color, and white has a shiny frame. The purple model has a matching purple camera island, while the other two has black glass around the lens.
Find X8s come in white (bright frame, black glass camera isra island), purple and blue (matte frames, color-muscular camera isra island), and Black (Black Camera Island Glass, Mat Frame).
Find X8S+ is a big phone. It has a 6.59-inch display panel-1-120Hz 10-bit unit with a dolby vision, and a summit of 1,600 NITs.
The phone is heavy at 198G, and is long at 157.5 mm. It is still completely managed and small that is out of ultra phone.

The camera system is very similar between both Find X8S models. The main camera is the same 24 mm f/1.8 units with 50mp 1/1.56-inch sensor. Ultravide is also shared – a 15 mm F/2.0 lens and 1/2.75 -inch sensor – It is actually the same unit found in Find X8 Ultra!
Zoom cameras on Find X8s and X8S+ are different. The X8S+ has a 73 mm f/2.6 periscope zoom with 1/1.95-inch sensor, while the Find X8s has 85 mm f/2.8 zoom with a small imageer.
Back to hardware. While both phones look very similar, there is a noticeable difference in the hand. Find X8s feel very small. The difference of size is larger than the appeal in photos and you have to handle both to achieve it.
With Find X8 Ultra, Oppo has no plans to bring Find X8s and find X8S+ in international markets. Chinese phones always have global global availability, but as they get better and better, it is becoming particularly painful for us.
The two find that X8s devices are relatively compact, excellent hardware, and, even more importantly, is equipped with immense silicone-carbons batteries- Find X8s have 5,700mAh cells, while Find X8S+ has 6,000mAh one. Compare that Galaxy S25 Ultra’s 5,000mAh battery or iPhone 16 Pro compare with 3,582mAh unit!
Cameras on recent Chinese phones are also getting better and better. But, sadly, all this is an irrelevant to the international audience.
