Manoj Kumar was known for his patriotic films. Some of his hit films include Purba and Paschim, Kranti and Roti, Capada and Houses, some of which are named. His films earned him Monikar, ‘Bharat Kumar’. Kumar was the recipient of a National Film Award and Seven Filmfare Awards.
