HMD has unveiled its latest feature phone – HMD 130 Music and HMD 150 Music – at a launch event in New Delhi. These devices are designed for music lovers who want an immersive and loud audio experience in an affordable package. They are equipped with dedicated music control, a powerful 2,500mAh battery, and connectivity features such as Bluetooth 5.0 and USB Type-C charging. In particular, both devices also include the underlying UPI payment capacity, making them a convenient option for users that require a reliable mobile phone that is not a smartphone.

HMD 130 music and HMD 150 music will be available at a cheaper price of Rs 1,899 and Rs 2,399 respectively. Consumers can buy them from major retail stores, HMD official websites and various e-commerce platforms. According to the company, both phones are among the most feature phones available, providing a better audio experience in their respective categories. HMD 130 music is available in blue, dark brown and red, while HMD 150 music comes in light blue, purple and gray.

HMD 130 music and HMD 150 music have a large rear speaker, claiming to be offered vigorously and clear sound quality, making them ideal for music and hands -free calls. Dedicated music buttons and in-box earphones increase the overall hearing experience. The devices also come up with a 2,500mAh removable battery that supports USB Type-C charging, offering music playback up to 50 hours and an impressive 36-day standby time.

Other major highlights include reinforced corners, a scratch-resistant screen and a dual flashlight (exclusive to HMD 130 music), which make these phones strong and convenient for everyday use. Entertainment options include wired and wireless FM radio, FM recording, Bluetooth 5.0, and support for both SD card expansion, up to 32GB to store your favorite multimedia content.

A standout feature of these devices is their UPI payment functionality. The HMD 130 music involves the underlying UPI payment support, while the HMD 150 music offers a scan-end feature, as it contains a single rear camera contrary to the HMD 130 music. Additionally, the phone includes a lesson-to-speech solution in Hindi and English.

Along with launching these feature phones, HMD has raised its partnership with Rajasthan Royals as its official smartphone partner for the IPL 2025 season.
