45 teaser: Mythology-inspired demonstration between Shiva Rajkumar, Upendra
The teaser of ’45’, starring by Shiv Rajkumar, Upendra and Raj B. Shetty, was released on 30 March 2025 marking the celebration of Ugadi.
One of the much awaited Kannada films of 2025, Arjun Janya’s ’45’, in which Shiv Rajkumar, Upendra, and Raj B. Shetty are scheduled to release in theaters on August 15, 2025. The producers released the teaser of the film on 30 March, which marks the celebration of Ugadi’s celebration. The concept-powered teaser showed three stars as a CGI-vision spectacle.

In an X post, Shiv Rajkumar shared the teaser of the film and wrote in his caption, “Witness the thrill, action, and drama unfolded. Celebrate this Ugadi with a glimpse of a power-pack!”
Debut director Arjun Janya has been a music composer in the Kannada film industry for two decades. Being one of the most demanded and busy musicians in the industry, it is impressive that he managed to present this high concept-driven film, bringing two superstars and an emerging star to share screen space.
Teaser indicated the story of the film inspired by the mythology of SEZ Markandeya. Lord Shiva has inspired the story of the film, how Shiva Rajkumar played the role of Lord Shiva, Upendra has played the role of Yama, and Raj B Shetty Markandeya, whose life is at stake.
In addition to the staller cast and story, CGI and VFX work in the teaser has attracted the attention of the audience. As a teaser launch event revealed by Arjun Janya, work on technical departments was outsourced in Canada, in which the director took a keen interest and took care of the work himself.
The film 45 is produced by Ramesh Reddy under Suraj Productions Banner. Cinematography is handled by Satya Hegde, while director Arjun Janya has also composed music. Apart from three stars, the film stars Jagapathi Babu, Jishu Sengupta and many other prominent actors in India.
On the work front, in addition to 45, Shiva Rajkumar is working on many projects such as Anand, Uttarakand and Ram Charan Peddi. Upendra will also be seen in Rajinikanth’s upcoming film Cool, directed by Lokesh Kanagraj. Additionally, he is working on Budhivantha 2 and Thrisholum. Raj B. Shetty will also be included in the upcoming direction of Anurag Kashyap along with Bobby Deol and Sanya Malhotra in the role of a cameo.
