The Poco F series has earned a reputation to offer a major performance cheaply. However, the prices of everything are rising and POCO has also been affected. In addition, the brand is going in a more premium direction and today we did not even find a vanilla F7, just one supporter and an ultra.

Here is a value comparison between Poco F6 generation and new models. As it stands today, the cheapest entry in the F7 series is $ 500/€ 600. And yes, the global pricing of the pro model is the same, but the European € 100 is looking at a collision.

Let’s start with Poco F7 Ultra, the brand’s first ultra phone and its first attempt on an all-out flagship. Poco F4 GT (2022) was the final to launch with the then Snapdragon chip. Since then, the F-series chose the old chips but got them cheaply. F7 Ultra is a return with today’s best Android chipset, Snapdragon 8 Elite.

This is not all, Poco paired a telephoto camera, a 50MP 2.5x unit with a floating lens, which also does tele-macro shots, and includes an ultra-wide camera that exceeds (32MP).

There are other gifts such as wireless charging (50W) to go with 120W wired charging, as well as a proper IP68 water resistance. It is a flagship and while it is expensive for a Poco, it is relatively cheap among its Snapdragon 8 elite peers.

Let’s take a look at some of them. OnePlus 13 starts at $ 900/€ 1,000 for 256GB unit. The Galaxy S25+ starts at $ 1,000/€ 1,150. A Realme GT 7 Pro is usually € 800.

You can argue that we should compare it with the choice of Galaxy S25 Ultra, Xiaomi 15 Ultra and others, but they are also pricier and Poco F7 Ultra does not have a camera to compete with them anyway.

Poco F7 Pro is a more economical version and is not a small difference, it is $ 150/€ 150 cheaper than its ultra cybbing. Therefore, you save some money, but you lose the performance-Pro Snapdragon 8 is powered by General 3. Most of the new cameras have also gone hardware, the Pro is 8MP ultra-wide to keep the main company only 50MP. The battery is large, 6,000mAh vs. 5,300mAh, but only 90W wired charging, no wireless.

OnePlus 13R creates a similar option and uses 8 General 3 chipsets to save some money. A 256GB unit goes to $ 600/€ 750, keeping it closer to ultra pricing than Pro. There is no Snapdragon, but the Samsung Galaxy S24 Fe has a $ 710/€ 660 MSRP for 256GB models. The Honor 200 Pro uses Snapdragon 8S General 3 instead of regular 8 General 3 and goes to € 800 for 512GB models. These prices are without discounts and are quite easy to find discounts – and note that POCOS also has early bird pricing, if you buy before 10 April.
