The Enforcement Directorate in Mumbai has provided provisional and immovable property worth Rs 19.61 crore associated with directors, group institutions and others in connection with an ongoing money laundering investigation. The case includes Karrm Developers, which is subject to investigation for financial irregularities in marketed housing projects for lower-middle class families.
In December 2023, the Bombay High Court criticized the Maharashtra Police for dealing with a large -scale housing scam, including Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi as a partner. Oberoi supported and promoted several housing projects under the Karam brand, including Karam Residency, Shahpur, Kasagan, Karam Panchatave in Shahpur and Karam Brahmand in Karam Brahmand, Palar in Karam Residency, Shahpur, Kasagan, Shahpur. These projects were initially promoted as affordable housing solutions, surviving 11,500 buyers in a bill, because the promised nests were never distributed.
The Karam Infrastructure, through its mission 360 initiative, deployed himself as a prominent player in the affordable housing area, targeting the forecast faction of homebuilders. However, officials alleged that the company misleads customers using fake and fake documents, which incorrectly introduces agricultural land in the form of non-agricultural land for safe investments.
This deception caused large -scale financial losses for naive buyers who invested their savings in projects. Following the latest action from the ED, the case has drew focus, demanded strict measures against those responsible with affected homebuilders. They also expect to fix their losses through attached properties.
Despite the legal turmoil, Vivek Oberoi continues to focus on his film career. After giving a striking performance as a counterpart Bobby in Lucifer, the actor shared his heartfelt praise for L2: Impuran, Mohanlal-Starrer sequel is currently running in theaters. In X, on Twitter in the east, Oberoi expressed his gratitude to be a part of the Lucifer Universe and reminded of his experience working on the first film.
“It was a complete bliss that was a part of the incredible journey that was Lucifer, and bringing Bobby into life was really a special experience for me while I discovered dark characters, it felt very different, and the love I received from the people of Kerala was really shocking,” he said.
L2: Imapuran mentions Oberoi’s character, but does not have a physical appearance in his outing.
