Homeland security secretary Christie Nom posted a video of Ms. Srinivasan at the airport and said that “no person advocating violence and terrorism should be in the country”.

“It is a privilege of living in the United States and providing a visa to study in the United States. Ms. Srinivasan was a doctoral student in urban planning at Columbia University. According to the school website, she was doing research in Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and preservation in Columbia. It has also been mentioned that it has worked for an environmental advocacy non -profit in Washington as a researcher of the West Philadelphia Landscape Project (WPLP) at the “Border communities at risk from climate change” in Washington and Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

The school website features Ms. Srinivasan mentioning herself with the linga-plate “they” pronouns.

There has been a zero of the student protests in support of Palestine amid Palestine amid the Columbia University Israel-Hamas War. Last week, Palestinian dynasty Mahmud Khalil’s alumni – who was at the forefront of the Palestinian protests on the campus last year – was arrested by American officials. While his green card has been canceled, a federal judge has temporarily captured Mr. Khalil’s exile.

Another student at Columbia University, Leqaa Kordia, was arrested by an immigration officer to end his student visa. He was arrested last year for his involvement in a pro -Palestine Protests in New York.

According to Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanches, the Department of Justice and Homeland Security are investigating whether Columbia was “harassing and hiding illegal aliens in his premises”.
