Pope Francis on Thursday symbolizes 12 years as the head of the Catholic Church, dropped out of danger in the hospital after a month, but put a shadow on his future with his health.

The 88 -year -old was severely ill for a time as he fought with pneumonia in both lungs at Jameli Hospital in Rome, where he was admitted on 14 February.

Argentina’s position has been clearly improved since then the Vatican confirmed its position on Wednesday evening, and the matter is now changing when it can go home.

But his hospitalized, his sinner’s longest and most frightening, has raised serious doubts about the world’s ability to lead approximately 1.4 billion Catholics.

slowing down

Francis had earlier refused to give any concession for his age or rapid delicate health, which saw that he begins to use wheelchairs three years ago.

He maintained a pack daily schedule with frequent foreign visits with a 12-day visit to the Asia-Pacific region in September, when he presided over the huge open-air public.

But experts say that their recovery may take weeks in view of their age and recurring health issues, not helping to be part of a lung as a young person.

Father Mitchell Kubbler, the former editor of the Vatican expert and the French religious newspaper La Crix, said, “The rest of his ponticts remain a question mark for this time, including themselves for Francis.”

The AFP said, “He does not know what his life will be after returning to the Vatican, and therefore there is no doubt whether he keeps the option to resign if he cannot face now,” he told AFP.

Francis has always left the door open to resign, after the example of Benedict XVI, for his health deteriorating, who voluntarily became the first pope since the Middle Ages to quit the post in 2013.

But Jesuit has recently removed himself from the idea, insisting that the job is for life.

While in the hospital, Francis has handed over to the public for senior cardinals, but has worked on work, including signing the dicress and receiving close colleagues.

But he has missed a month’s events for a sacred year 2025 Jubilee organized by the Pope, which has been predicted to attract an additional 30 million pilgrims for Rome and Vatican.

And it is difficult to imagine that he would be sufficient to lead a complete program of events for Easter, which is the most sacred period in the Christian calendar which is less than six weeks away.

Many believe that Francis, who has not been seen publicly since hospitalization, will have to change the course.

“This is the end of the ponten as we know it so far,” Kubbler said.

Incomplete reform

Francis made a sharp contrast to his cerebral predecessor, when he took over, survived the office trap and reached the society with a message that the church was for all.

Roman, a former archbishop of Buenos Aires, is more at home with her flock than cardinals, Francis launched the Vatican and beyond the widespread reforms.

Some changes have been placed in official texts to increase the role of women and open the church for divorce and LGBTQ members from reorganizing the finance of the Vatican.

But a broad discussion on the future of the church, known as a Dharm Sabha, has not yet ended.

And there are many who will happily look at their work.

Traditionists strongly opposed their views, and an outrage in Africa clarified the Vatican in 2023 in 2023 for the uniform-pacifying blessings for the same-lingo couples.

A Vatican source said, “We have shifted the dial, but many things are still pending,” said a Vatican formula.
