Amid mass action on illegal immigration by US President Donald Trump, his administration is allegedly conducting polygraph tests of his own personnel to leak information to the media about the migrants who can find out the migrants. Polygraph tests are going on for about three weeks, CBS News reported in the quotation of Christie NoM, Secretary, Homeland Security.
It is still not clear how many employees have been tested so far, but in a social media post on Friday, NOEM said that DHS has identified two leaks of information, which will be prosecuted for endangering law enforcement life.
“We have identified criminal leaks within @dhsgov and are preparing to refer to these criminals for @Thejusticedept for hooliganism prosecution. These individuals face up to 10 years in federal jail. We will find and root all the leaks. They will face the time of jail and we will get justice for the American people.

Trump’s crack on illegal immigration
Since Trump returns to the White House in January, his administration has been aggressive in his efforts to fulfill the promise of the President’s campaign, fulfilling the promise of cracking illegal immigration and implementing exile of unspecified immigrants.
According to the White House data, more than 50,000 unspecified migrants have been removed as the administration targets criminals, including killers, rapists and drug smuggling.
The administration has asked several agencies – including alcohol, tobacco, firearm and explosive and drug enforcement administration – to provide personnel to help increase this effort. The Trump administration also took up the policy of former President Joe Biden, in which immigration agents were banned from making immigration near schools, places of worship and other sensitive places. This step is currently facing legal challenges.
In late January, the DHS secretary told CBS News that filming and promoting immigration raids conducted by American immigration and customs enforce was served as “accountable measures”.
“This is not a spectacle,” NoM said. “This is the law enforcement of our country – judicial process. The scales of justice are equally applicable to everyone. We want transparency on it. I believe it is an accountable measure.”
