Realme launched a full new P-series of smartphones last year in April. Since then, the company has already launched five devices under the lineup. It has the latest P3X 5G, launched with P3 Pro last week. We reviewed the P3 Pro 5G which we found a smooth runner in a budget. P3X provides a similar experience at a more affordable price. For Rs 13,999, Realme P3X 5G has a smooth design with vegetarian leather back panels, 6,000mAh battery, 50-megapixel rear camera and 120Hz refresh rate display. The phone also debuts the new MediaTek Demistance 6400 chipset. On paper, these features look great, but are they equally good when you actually use the device? I will respond to the same answer in this review.

Realme P3X 5G Review: All Good Things

Realme P3X 5G is a good option if you are on a tight budget. At Rs 13,999, it comes with many characteristics, often seen in premium devices. To start, the phone has a smooth construction with a vegetarian leather that has a linear geometric pattern. It all looks very premium. It is available in three colors: lunar silver, midnight blue and steller pink. I found the staller pink variant, and it looks great.

It is worth noting that only pink and blue models have a vegetarian leather return. The Lunar Silver Edition has a micron-level engraving and a texcharged back panel that reflects the light.

Unlike its pro variants, which sports a circular camera module, the P3X 5G has a vertical dual-camera setup and a smooth flat-frame design. When moving away from uniform pattern, the rectangular camera island has a touch of metal on its base, which adds a sign of sophistication. While the phone keeps a little stagger when placing flat on a surface, the camera island does not look very heavy or heavy.

In terms of the form factor, the P3X 5G affects with its slim 7.93 mm profile, making it slightly slightly thinner than its old brother -bahn, P3 Pro (7.99 mm). Flat-frame design not only enhances its modern beauty, but also gives it a contemporary and sophisticated look.

On the front, the phone has a 6.72 -inch FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. In a sub-RS 15,000 price section, Realme P3X 5G is a grand performance. I am watching a lot of Youtube videos on the phone and it does not seem that the content on the device looks like the corners have been cut on the display quality. The screen of the P3X is sufficiently bright and provides vivid color. Even a bright sunshine day, Realme P3X 5G is capable of maintaining its performance.

Coming to performance, Realme P3X 5G provides an interval-free experience. I am using the phone for a week and it handled all the basic tasks well. For example, while watching Netflix and YouTube videos, it was Lag-free to scroll Instagram, using social media apps and play games on the device.

To give strength to these tasks, Realme P3X 5G has surprisingly long battery life. Realme P3x 5G is more than 24 hours on the same charge. It packs 6,000mAh battery similar to its old brother -in -law, Realme P3 Pro 5G.

For perspective, I was gaming over the phone for 35 minutes, during which the battery percentage fell just 4 percent. I also saw a comedy stand up by Abhishek Upmenu (Employee number 1) For 40 minutes, during which the battery fell 10 percent. Which basically means, the battery of the phone is quite stable and is capable of maintaining charge even during continuous and prolonged use.

Unlike long battery life, however, supports charging speed. It is slow. But let me come on it in a minute.

Realme P3x 5G has a dual camera system with a 50-megapixel and 2-megapixel shooter. The 50-megapixel primary camera clicks on clear and vivid images.

Surprisingly, for a sub-15,000 rupees section phone, the portrait mode of Realme P3X 5G is correct for its claims. It is good to detect the edge. There is a good difference in the background and foreground. AI integration in the camera is also good, which helps to illuminate the subject in a way that looks natural.

The 10x Zoom-in camera feature is also decent.

So far, I have talked about P3X’s good battery, beautiful design, its premium-dying display and strong performance. However, this is not without its flaws.

Realme P3X 5G Review: Rough Spot

The side-mounted fingerprint sensor on Realme P3X 5G requires a software Twitching. For the fact that it is side-mounted, even when I grab the device, it is clear that some part of my hand will rest on the button.

However, any contact with the button is registered as an attempt to unlock the device. As a result, I end with a “lots of failed efforts” warnings, which also neutralize the face unlock.

Realme P3X 5G disables fingerprint and facelock for 30 minutes if the border is hit.

Another pain point is its 45W charging speed. Realme P3X 5G takes about 1.5 hours to charge from 0 percent to 100 percent. However, the savings grace is that you do not need to charge it frequently.

There is absolutely no defect, but the result of a budget phone with a huge 6,000mAh battery – thick bezels. P3X 5G is no different. You will definitely have a habit of this in a while, but the thin bezels will definitely add to the experience of viewing.

Finally, low-light camera capabilities may be better at P3X 5G. It struggles when capturing images in low light, resulting in noise output.

Realme P3X 5G: Should you buy?

If you have a tight budget, Realme P3X 5G is a good option. Despite some of its shortcomings, P3x 5G is a well -balanced device. For example, 6,000mAh battery, MediaTek Dimentense 6400 SoC, 120Hz refresh rate, 50-megapixel main camera, in other characteristics. To answer the question at the beginning of this review: Does it also perform in real life as the specifications have suggested on paper? it happens. At an initial price of Rs 14,000, the P3X 5G provides a stable performance, good camera and an impressive battery life.
