OnePlus has started rolling the Oxygenos 15 updates for its OnePlus Nord CE 3 smartphone, a mid-range device, launched in India in July 2023. This software update hosts new features, performance improvements and bug fixes. Although the purpose of the update is to bring a useful enhancement, the initial user response suggests that some issues have come up after installing it. Here is everything to know about it.
OnePlus Nord CE 3 receives oxygenos 15 updates
Oxygenos are being released in 15 updated stages, meaning that only limited number of users will receive it first, which soon expect a broad rollout. One of the standout addition is the AI Ritch feature, which improves the photo clarity by restoring the details in the blurred images, even zoom-in or low quality images look more defined. There is also a new AI notes feature to help users with continuous writing, lesson improvement and improving style for better productivity.
Another large upgrade flux is the beginning of the theme, which gives users more control over personalizing the look of their device. With this feature, they can modify system wallpapers, lock screen, and always-on displays. The update also introduces live alert, which provides real-time information to users in a small capsule within punch-hole cutouts. By tapping on the capsules, it is expanded to a wide card to see live activities such as charging status or use of torch. This update live alert also fixes some display glitter related to the status bar icon when it is active.
Additional updates include the ability to transfer files in iOS devices using OnePlus share, a new split mode that separates information from quick settings, and a “charging limit” feature that is a “charging limit” facility to preserve battery health Prevents charging at 80 percent. Privacy and security have also been upgraded, as well as photo editing, allways-on display settings and lock screen customization.
Despite these new additions, some users have reported several issues after installing Oxygen 15 updates. A common complaint is that many flux themes are not available, and live alert feature is a malfunction in landscape mode or never works at all. There are also reports of the disappearance of AI facilities from the sidebar.
Other problems include a green or yellow line, when appearing when switching between complaints about the absence of new volume slider as well as between the display and lock screen. Users sometimes refer to the interval in the consumption of UI and high RAM, causing the apps to be re -loaded into the background and when the application is minimal, to hide the material. Additionally, the camera’s OI is reportedly lagged behind when recording 1080p videos, and some camera filters appear empty.
So far, OnePlus has officially not responded to some issues that they are experiencing, although a fix is expected in the future updates. To check if the oxygen 15 update is available on your OnePlus Nord CE3, go to Settings> Systems and Updates> Software updates.
