Amid the increasing tension between India and Bangladesh, a high-level delegation of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrived in New Delhi on Monday for a two-year-old Director General of Director General talks with the Border Security Force (BSF). Bilateral talks will be held on Tuesday.

India has also objected to the increasing incidents of violence in Bangladesh, especially violence against Hindus, and continue to engage diplomatically to improve relations.

Intelligence inputs suggest that Bangladesh allowed Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI and military officials to visit sensitive areas near the Indian border. “The level of vigilance is at an all -time high with the limit and we will also increase these issues,” said an official.

The 55th Director General General-Level Border Coordination Conference between the two forces will be held at BSF Headquarters. A BSF official said that the Bangladeshi delegation may also call officials of some senior Union Home Ministry.
