There is no doubt that Kiran Abbavaram is one of the leading young talents in the Telugu film industry today. The actor’s last film, KA, was released in October last year, was a large -scale hit, equally praising both fans and critics.
Now, actor is set for the release of his next film, Dilruba, directed by Vishwa Karun. The film is said to be a romantic drama and includes Judugar actress Rushkar Dhillon, John Vijay, Dayanand Reddy and others in important roles.
The KA actor found out in his official X (East Twitter) account that his upcoming film matches the festival of Holi on 14 March. Kiran Abbavaram shared the poster of the film on social media and wrote:
“Remember Valentine’s Day … Let’s celebrate Holi! My love, my anger – March 14!”

Dilruba was initially prescribed for release on 14 February, coinciding with Valentine’s Day. However, there was speculation about whether the film would complete this release date due to lack of publicity by its producers.
While the exact causes of the adjournment are unknown, it is rumored that filmmakers need more time to promote. Additionally, they allegedly wanted to avoid box office clashes with other films like Laila and Brahma Anandam, which are also ready for release on 14 February.
As mentioned earlier, Dilruba is a romantic drama directed by Vishwa Karun. The film is produced by Ravi, Jojo Jose, Ravish Reddy and Sargama. Sam is known for his work in films like CS, Kathy and Vikram Vedas, composed of music, while Vishwas handles Daniel Cinematography. Praveen is in charge of KL editing.
On the work front, Kiran Abbavaram will next be seen in a romantic entertainer called C-Ramp directed by Jain Nani. The film will include Marco actress Yuti Thareja as a female lead, composing music by Chitan Bhardwaj. Satesh Reddy and Ghata Prasad are responsible for cinematography and editing respectively. The film is currently in its pre-production phase.
