As Sonakshi Sinha and Zaheer Iqbal head towards their wedding on June 23, a new update has got their fans excited. After the invitation card, venue and guest list were leaked, an unnamed source told Hindustan Times that the couple might host their haldi ceremony on June 20.
The publication quoted the source as saying, “The haldi ceremony will take place at Sonakshi’s new house in Bandra which she recently bought after moving out of her parent’s house. It will be a small ceremony attended by only close friends and family members and less than 50 people have been invited for the ceremony and that is why they chose Sonakshi’s house as the venue.”
The source also revealed that ever since they started planning their wedding, they were sure about keeping it private and ending it with a grand party. “Of course, they want to celebrate their happiness with their industry friends, so the reception will be big,” the source added.
Sonakshi Sinha will leave yellow and pink color on Haldi
The Double XL actress has refused to wear yellow and pink for the haldi and is going to go the unconventional way. It is worth mentioning that the soon-to-be-married couple has wanted to keep the event private and intimate. Hence, they have cut down the guest list and decided to hold the ceremony in Mumbai itself in the presence of their near and dear ones.
For those who don’t know, the couple has chosen Shilpa Shetty’s Mumbai restaurant for their wedding. Though they have mentioned in the invitation that ‘the rumours are true’, they have requested guests to avoid wearing red at the event.
