The Bengali film industry may have lost its previous pride, but its talent remains virgin as always. For those who follow Bengali cinema, it is nothing short of groundbracking. Even the Tollywood (not to be confused with the Bengali film industry, not to be confused with Telugu cinema) did not imagine a collaboration between Proponjit Chatterjee and two industry veterans (or perhaps not able to pull). But Netflix did it. And they did not stop there. The series is also in ropes in Paramabrarata Chattopadhyay (familiar with Hindi audiences from Kahni and Aranyak) and Saswata Chatterjee (Kahani, Jagga Jasos, Kalki 2898 AD), which makes a dream lineup for Bengali cinema fans.

Real thrill? Watching these actors – with the legacy of giving each of each – share screen space usually. Prosenjit Chatterjee, of course, plays an important role as Tollywood’s greatest superstar, a powerful politician. Interestingly, like Vikramaditya Motwen’s Jubilee, he does not take the center stage, but plays the power player behind the curtain.

This is from the spotlight Jeet, which steps in the role of IPS Arjun Maitra – a policeman who is prescribed for “Clean” Kolkata. His journey fuel to the heart of the kitchen: Bengal chapter, completely surrounded by the powerful line he distributes in the teaser: “JTill now, crush is changed, Kuch will change.,

The police squad is not complete without Parambararta Chattopadhyay, whose presence in Bollywood has only become stronger. The teaser considers her character with an internal dilemma – but it is what we feel.

And then one of the best actors of Bengal is Saswata Chatterjee. While the Hindi audience has got a sporadic glimpse of his talent, Khake can eventually recognize it with pan-India which he deserves. He plays the role of a dreaded gangster, who is the ultimate opponent to the No-Bakwas police of victory. One can only hope that he will get more screen time, as Khake is a series and a very qualified opportunity to shine in the pan-India project.

With these four Bengali powerhouses, Netflix has done what the audience has demanded for years – by increasing regional stars in stories established in their own cultural scenario. India’s diversity is its strength, and every region has its own cinematic legends that allow immense allegiance and praise. And, when Neeraj Pandey remains a shorener, he left the government for Bengali directors, which is to Debatama Mandal and Tushar Kanti Re to dilute the series. And contrary to Khake: Bihar chapter, Bengal chapter will be a fictional story in which there is no relation with real -life events.

But casting masterstroke does not end there. The manufacturers have mixed the best of Bengali and Hindi talent to make a rich, multi -layered artist contingent. Roll calls continue with Chitrangada Singh joining the artists as a politician – possibly a rival to the character of the prosecution.

While riding a high ride on the success of Bundish bandits, Ritvik Bhomik turns into an associate of Saswata’s gangster, in an avatar that is contrary to anything already played.

Neeraj Pandey also re -connects with Adil Khan (Special Ops 1.5), which was a revelation in that series. He also, plays the role of a colleague of Saswata.

Akanasha Singh, known for her work in Telugu Films and Hindi TV, plays a prominent policeman in the Git squad, while Pooja Chopra has played the role of Jit’s on-screen wife.

Mithun Chakraborty’s son, Mimoh Chakraborty, also joined the police force on the show. And then there is Shraddha Das, whose character is immersed in mystery, which is more complicated by her role.

Now you call it a casting coup! A powerhouse lineup and an intensive crime play at its core, Khake: Bengal is one of the most exciting release of Netflix with chapter. The audience can only bake and hope that it is going to be a ride!
