US C -17 military aircraft carrying 205 exiled Indians in Amritsar

The US military aircraft deported 205 Indians as part of President Donald Trump’s campaign against illegal immigrants, which have landed in Amritsar. The C -17 military aircraft flew from an airport in Texas yesterday.

Sources have told NDTV that every Indian national has “verified” the flight, indicating New Delhi’s participation in the process. This is probably the first of many flights that will bring back illegal Indian migrants in the US.

Soon after taking over as US President, Trump has started cracking illegal immigrants. Earlier, American military aircraft have sent back the immigrants sent to Guatemala, Peru and Honduras.

The first round of exile of Indian citizens has taken amid reports that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is flying to the US next week. This will be his first visit after Trump took over as US President for the second time.

The US President has said that Prime Minister Modi assured him that when it comes to withdrawing illegal Indian migrants, India will “do what is right”. According to a report by Bloomberg News, India and the United States have identified 18,000-to-averse Indian migrants who illegally enter the US.

Foreign Minister Dr. S Jaishankar has said that New Delhi is open to the “legitimate return” of Indian citizens who illegally ‘illegally’ in the US.

Trump told reporters last month, “For the first time in history, we are detecting and loading illegal aliens in military aircraft and flying them back to places where they came.”

The Ministry of External Affairs has said that India is against illegal immigration as it is associated with many forms of organized crime.

“For Indians not only in the United States, but anywhere in the world, if they are Indian citizens and they are oversking, or they are in a particular country without proper documents, we will take them back, provided the documents provided the documents We have been shared with us. Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in a press briefing that we can verify his nationality and he is really Indian.

A spokesman for the US embassy in New Delhi said the US “strictly implementing its limits, tightening the immigration laws, and removing illegal migrants”. The spokesperson said, “These actions send a clear message: illegal migration is not worth the risk.”
