Karla Sophia Gakson made headlines after suddenly removed her X (formally Twitter) account. On 31 January, the Emilia Perez actress shared a statement with the Hollywood reporter, stating why she chose out of social media platform for good.
In the statement, he issued an apology for his old aggressive tweets, which motivated Neetzens to send his death threats. He said, “I am sorry, but I can no longer allow this campaign of hate and misinformation to impress me and my family,” he justified his decision.
The actress revealed that she had been at the end of many death dangers, abuse and oppression at the point of exhaustion. Gaskon said that there is a daughter to protect her, whom she loves insanity and who supports her every decision.
The transgender actress openly met the wife Marisa Gutirez, when she was a teenager and now shared a daughter, Victoria, which she welcomed in 2011.
“I have defended every minorities in this world,” he claimed in the statement. She allegedly supported incidents that were against racism, freedom of religion, or homophobia and criticized the “hypocrisy” located below them.
Guskon may apologize or hurt for any pain further. In his new statement for the same outlet, he again begged for apologizing for tweets he had made due to ignorance.
He said, “I am a human being, whatever makes, makes, and makes mistakes that I will learn. I am not right.” After the apology, journalist Sarah Hagi shared screenshots of the actress’s now—f tweets, which allegedly focused on the Masalin culture, George Floid and Diversity, to make some names.
Gaskon has been nominated for the best actress at this year’s Oscar for her performance at Emilia Perez. In the music thriller, he played a transgender character both before and after gender infection, which earn his praise for his versatility.
