Tesla CEO Elon Musk appreciated the decision of US Presidential Donald Trump not banning the Chinese social media app Tiktok.
Musk believed that Tiktok Ban went against freedom of speech.
However, he flagged off an imbalance, stating that although Tiktok is allowed to work in the US, X has been banned in China.
In a post on X, he said, “I have long been against a tiktok ban, as it goes against freedom of speech. He said, the current situation where Tiktok is allowed to work in America, but X Not allowed to work in China is unbalanced.
Earlier on April 19, Musk had opposed the ban on Tikokok, even though he said the ban would have benefited the X.
“In my opinion, Tikokkok should not be banned in the USA, even if such a ban can benefit the X platform. Doing so will be contrary to the freedom of speech and expression. This is not what standing for America Is.”
