Infinix has officially announced the launch date of the upcoming flagship Infinix Note 40 in India. After the successful launch of the Infinix Note 40 Pro, it looks like the company is looking to release the standard model of the same. Infinix has announced that the new Note 40 will arrive in India on June 21.

Since this model has already been launched in the Philippines market, the Indian variant is expected to be similar. The company has confirmed that the Infinix Note 40 5G will feature an AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone also supports wireless charging on the device.

Infinix Note 40: What we know so far

Just like its more expensive version, the Infinix Note 40 will also support wireless charging. The device is expected to have a 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired charging. The Infinix Note 40 5G will feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It has ultra-narrow bezels and a 93.8 percent screen-to-body ratio.

Additionally, the Infinix Note 40 5G is expected to feature a sound system tuned by JBL, which is said to deliver 360-degree symmetrical sound and a 58 percent increase in bass performance over the previous version. Rest of the details are unknown at the moment.

As far as the cameras are concerned, the Infinix Note 40 5G is rumoured to feature a triple rear camera setup consisting of a 108-megapixel primary camera; a 2-megapixel camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. There is a single front camera setup for selfies, rumoured to be a 32-megapixel primary camera.

The Infinix Note 40 5G runs on XOS 14 based on Android 14 and has 256GB of inbuilt storage. The Infinix Note 40 5G is speculated to be a dual-SIM mobile. The Infinix Note 40 5G measures 164.28 x 74.50 x 8.09mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 190.00 grams. It is said to be launched in Titan Gold and Obsidian Black colours. It has an IP53 rating for dust and water protection.

Infinix Note 40: Price

The device is expected to be priced around Rs 20,000. Since the device features 15W Wireless MagCharge, it will be the first device in this range to feature wireless charging. The device was launched in the Philippines at a price of PHP 13,999. And since we expect a similar model to arrive in India, the price will also be around the same.

It is worth noting that most of these specifications and prices are based on leaks and rumors. Therefore, it is advisable not to rely on them completely.
