Actor Rajpal Yadav’s father died in Delhi in the early hours of Friday. Although the actor’s team has not yet released any official statement on this news, it is believed that he was unwell for a few days.

Yadav, who was allegedly shooting in Thailand, reached his family in Delhi on Friday. Allegedly, his father was admitted to AIIMS in Delhi, where he breathed his last.

In the beginning of this week, it was reported that Rajpal Yadav has received threatening emails. According to the police, “We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe that we should bring a sensitive matter to your attention. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to bother you.”

It further states that they should “treat this message with extremely seriousness and privacy”.

On the professional front, Rajpal Yadav was last seen in Baby John. The film is a Hindi remake of Thalapati Vijay’s Tamil film Thery. It also stars Kirti Suresh and Vamika Gabbi in lead roles.
