Ajith Kumar is all set to raise the bar once again with his upcoming film Vidamuyarchi. Directed by Magizh Thirumeni, it is a romantic action thriller, and the trailer of the film has already left fans buzzing with excitement. Recently the filmmaker has made a special revelation about the film.
In his recent interview, director Magizh Thirumeni revealed some interesting details about Ajith Kumar starrer Vidamuyarchi.
He mentioned that it was the senior actor who chose the name of his character Arjun considering the film’s theme of action adventure and suspense.
For those who don’t know, the name Arjun has had a special association with AK’s filmography over the years, as it was the same name of his character in his first film as a lead role in Amravati.
Moving further into the interview, Magizh also revealed what kind of character Ajith is playing. Based on the trailer, it looks like he plays the role of his on-screen wife Trisha Krishnan’s loving husband, who promises to go to any extent to save his wife who gets kidnapped.
Reflecting on AK’s beliefs and ideologies, the director said, “Ajith sir closely follows whatever happens in the society.. He is against male supremacy and anti-women attitudes. So he wanted to show it from the women’s perspective in the film.
For those unaware, Ajith Kumar has been making headlines recently with his racing performances. The actor, who is fond of sports car racing, won the Dubai 24H Series under his team Ajit Kumar Racing.
Meanwhile, his second project in the pipeline, Good Bad Ugly directed by Adhik Ravichandran, is expected to release on April 10, 2025.
