As the excitement of the big event wears off, it’s time to look at the cost of owning the new S25 series flagship. You can also compare it with the pricing details of the Galaxy S24 series that we posted last year.
We took a look at all the changes and improvements made to the Galaxy S25 and S25+, as well as the Galaxy S25 Ultra upgrade. For a more detailed look at the new flagships, head over to our hands-on review of the Galaxy S25 series.
We don’t have pricing information from all markets yet, but most have kept things at the same level as last year – the S25 models cost the same as their S24 predecessors in the US, UK, Europe and Australia. So far, only Canada is showing higher prices, but we are still waiting for the announcement in some markets (for example the event in India is several hours after the main event).

One thing to note is that the 512GB configuration for the vanilla Galaxy S25 is available in most markets except the US. Interestingly, the base 128GB option is not visible on Samsung.com in Australia (this was the case with the S24 last year). And the S25 Ultra is $50 cheaper, which is nice but still not enough to make up for the huge price increase on the S24 Ultra last year.
