Director Gautham Menon recently opened up about actor Suriya’s decision not to take up Dhruva Nachtiram. The director expressed that given their history of successful collaborations such as Khaaka Khaaka and Vaaranam Aayiram, the rejection was especially painful.

Dhruva Natchathiram has faced many delays and obstacles since its inception. Reflecting on Suriya’s rejection, Gautham said, “I understand why he can’t easily say yes to films, but I don’t want to understand that either. He heard the story and the script, and we had a lot of discussions. But for some reason, he didn’t choose it. I thought he would trust the director who had made Khaaka Khaaka and Vaaranam Aayiram with him, if someone else had said no, it would have been fine, but Suriya saying no was my thing. troublesome for Was.

Gautham Menon reflected on the bond and trust they built, saying, “I didn’t ask for it as a favor. We built trust by doing two films together. How wrong could it be? I asked him this. Recalling their previous collaboration, Vaaranam Aayirum, Gautham said, “I approached both Nana Patekar and Mohanlal for the father’s role.
