Buoyed by the success of the Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise, Anees Bazmee is all set to begin work on his next comic film, No Entry 2 produced by Boney Kapoor, starring Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor in the lead roles. The film aims to go on the floors in the third quarter of 2025 and the makers are all set to begin preparations for this eye-catching entertainer. According to industry sources, Anees Bazmee, Boney Kapoor and the team of No Entry 2 are all set to travel to Greece by the end of January.
An insider shared, “No Entry 2 is one of the most awaited comedies of Hindi cinema, and the makers are finally set to hit the floors in Q3 2025. Pre-production work begins in Greece in January, followed by a second round of recce in February. The makers are committed to taking it on the floors this year and bringing it to the big screen in 2026. A team of 8 to 10 people, including Anees Bazmee, Boney Kapoor and the technical crew, will go to Greece for a long-term recce. No Entry 2 stars Varun Dhawan, Arjun Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in dual roles and the film will have 9 actresses along with the pair. Casting is going on.
After the success of Rocky Rani Ki Prem Kahani, Ranveer Singh is all set to make a grand comeback on the big screen with Aditya Dhar directed Dhurandar. According to industry insiders, Jio Studios has started discussing the possible release date of this action-packed thriller set against the backdrop of R&AW in collaboration with Aditya Dhar and Ranveer Singh. “About 50 per cent of the shooting has been completed and the intention is to wrap it up by summer 2025. Since the film is based on the 70s, Aditya Dhar needs two to three months to work on post-production. The makers are aiming to release the film between December 2025 and February 2026,” a source shared.
We hear that the entire unit is extremely excited about Dhurandar and those who have watched the crowd can’t stop themselves from marveling at the visuals and Ranveer Singh’s performance. “There’s also a rough teaser ready to announce the release date, and the cut is extraordinary. However, Ranveer and team want to announce the film only after the shooting is over. A date will be announced in the summer of 2025, in which a robust video asset will unveil the world of Dhurandar. That’s the plan for now, however, there may be changes in the long run as summer is still far away,” the source concluded.
