Thaman S has delivered successful chartbusters recently thanks to films like Pushpa 2, Daku Maharaj, Game Changer and others. The musician drew attention when he said that negative tags and trolls from the audience were disrespecting cinema as a whole.
Speaking at an event for Daku Maharaj, Thaman S pointed out how pointless fan wars and the trend of downplaying films with negativity is affecting Telugu cinema.
He said, “All the technicians from other film industries are waiting for a chance to work in Telugu and here we are destroying our own cinema. You can have all the fan wars but it is our responsibility to respect our producers and cinema. I am fed up and fed up with these trolls and negative tags and trends.”
Amidst the immense response from the audience on his statement, the music director has now received a big shock from megastar Chiranjeevi.
The senior actor, in a post on Twitter, explained how Thaman’s words had touched his heart, noting that they reflected the musician’s deep hurt over the matter.

He further explained how every person on social media should always realize the impact their words are having on others.
An excerpt from Chiranjeevi’s post reads, “Dear Thaman, the words you said yesterday touched my heart. I was a little surprised that you, who always talked cheerfully, felt so deeply saddened. But I thought that when your mind was troubled, you used to react so much. Whether the topic is cinema or cricket or any other social issue, every person using social media should think about the impact of their words on those people.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi has a few projects, including an untitled film with Vishwambhara and Srikanth Odela.
