The 2023-2024 Broadway season kicks off on Sunday, June 16 with the 77th Tony Awards held at New York’s prestigious Lincoln Center, hosted by Ariana DeBose for the third time in a row.
This year, anticipated performances came courtesy of Cabaret, Illinois, Merrily We Roll Along, Suffs, The Outsiders, Water For Elephants, and other artists. As a special treat, Jay Z also joined Alicia Keys on stage and performed Empire State of Mind as part of a special Hell’s Kitchen medley.
Angelina Jolie, Daniel Radcliffe, Brooke Shields, Rachel McAdams and more stars added glitz and glamour to the prestigious night with their eye-catching outfits that reflected their celebrity status as well as their personal style.

Angelina and Vivienne Jolie
The mother-daughter duo coordinated their outfits for the night, choosing to match shades of teal. While Angelina Jolie looked radiant as usual in a stunning strapless velvet gown by Versace with a matching velvet shawl that hung loosely from her shoulders and draped over her elbows and wrists, 15-year-old Vivienne, who helped her mother produce the Broadway show The Outsiders, a musical based on the young adult novel and film of the same name, complemented the Maleficent actress in a deep teal cyan set.
Rachel Mcadams
Nominated for Best Lead Actress for Mary Jane, McAdams played it safe in a black mermaid tail gown with minimal diamond jewellery. She let her beautiful brown hair do the show, keeping it open to adorn her bare shoulders and neck.
brooke shields
The recently elected president of Actors’ Equity Association managed to maintain an even balance between glamour and comfort, arriving at the event wearing a lemon yellow sequin and silk dress with matching yellow Crocs.
Ariana DeBose
DeBose attended the ceremony for the third consecutive time wearing an Oscar de la Renta stained-glass gown.
Jeremy Strong
Nominated for Best Lead Actor for his role in An Enemy of the People, Strong wore his signature color, brown, to the 2024 Tony Awards party. He also won the aforementioned award later in the night.
Alicia Keys
Keys, whose semi-autobiographical musical, Hell’s Kitchen, received 13 nominations, wore a bright red custom Gucci gown to the ceremony. She further enhanced her look by wearing matching opera gloves to her OOTN.

The 34-year-old Harry Potter star stepped out in a custom amethyst-colored Todd Snyder tuxedo with his girlfriend, Erin Darke, to celebrate his first Tony nomination and eventual win. His wife wore a shimmering charcoal gown with an illusion neckline and intricate beading.
