Anshu Ambani has defended Telugu director Trinadha Rao Nakkina, calling him the ‘sweetest guy’ despite criticism over his weight comment at the Majaka teaser launch event.
Actress Anshu Ambani, who is making a comeback after almost two decades, has clarified her stand towards Telugu director Trinadha Rao Nakkina. In a video, the actor thanked everyone for the wonderful response to the film’s teaser. She then addressed Trinadha Rao Nakkina’s comments and said, “I really want to assure you all that he is the sweetest man on the planet. I made those comments jokingly in the hope of making everyone laugh. However, if these comments hurt you, it is my fault, as they were offensive. I had no idea it would become such an important issue.”
Anshu Ambani, who rose to fame in the early 2000s with films like Manmadhudu, Raghavendra and Jai, is returning to the silver screen with Mazaka.
