A 34-year-old US woman has been sued by the Federal Aviation Administration after she failed to pay an $81,950 fine for assaulting co-passengers on a flight in 2021.

A woman named Heather Wells, from San Antonio, was traveling on a first-class ticket from Texas to Charlotte on an American Airlines flight on July 7, 2021. the new York Times informed of.

He allegedly kicked, punched and spat at passengers and crew and tried to open the plane’s main door, after which he was taped to a seat.

The Federal Aviation Administration fined him $81,950, the highest fine ever imposed.

According to the lawsuit received by the new York Times, The woman ordered whiskey during the flight and after that she started behaving violently.

She said she “wanted to get off” the plane and ran toward the rear of the plane and “spoke incoherently to passengers, then crawled back to the main cabin.”

When a flight attendant approached her, Wells told her she would “hurt” her if she didn’t get out of her way. She pushed him away and walked to the front of the plane.

She then pushed him, walked toward the front of the plane and attempted to open the front door, “all the while yelling and using profanity,” the lawsuit says.

When two cabin crew and a passenger tried to restrain him, he struck an attendant several times in the head. Wells was then tied to his seat with duct tape and gagged.

She still continued to behave violently and broke the seat in front of her, after which she was knocked unconscious and taken off the plane in Charlotte.
