A 34-year-old US woman has been sued by the Federal Aviation Administration after she failed to pay an $81,950 fine for assaulting co-passengers on a flight in 2021.

She said she “wanted to get off” the plane and ran toward the rear of the plane and “spoke incoherently to passengers, then crawled back to the main cabin.”

She then pushed him, walked toward the front of the plane and attempted to open the front door, “all the while yelling and using profanity,” the lawsuit says.

When two cabin crew and a passenger tried to restrain him, he struck an attendant several times in the head. Wells was then tied to his seat with duct tape and gagged.

She still continued to behave violently and broke the seat in front of her, after which she was knocked unconscious and taken off the plane in Charlotte.
