Actress Anushka Sharma and her cricketer husband Virat Kohli recently visited Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj in Vrindavan, Uttar Pradesh. The couple’s conversation with Sant, along with their children, Vamika and Akay, has gone viral on social media.

In the widely circulated clip, Anushka is seen asking for “devotion of love” from the saint and mentioning that she often listens to his spiritual discourses. Meanwhile, Virat sat quietly holding Akaay in his arms and listened attentively to their conversation.

During a conversation with Premanand Maharaj, the actress said,Last time we came, we had some questions in our mind. I thought I would ask but whoever was sitting there had asked some similar question.(Last time I came, I had some questions in my heart. I wanted to ask those questions but someone else more or less covered it).

She continued with a smile on her face, “When we were talking about coming here, I was talking to you in my mind. Next day I used to open Kanti Varta and someone or the other was asking that question. you just give me love devotion(When I was thinking of coming here, I was talking to you in my mind. Responding to Anushka, Premanand Maharaj said (in Hindi), “These people are very brave. It is quite a difficult thing to dedicate yourself to God after achieving so much fame in the world. We feel that your devotion to God (Anushka’s) devotion will be the same. It will affect him (Kohli) too.”

In the video, Shri Premanand Govind Sharan Ji Maharaj can be heard praising Anushka for keeping Virat Kohli on the path of humility and faith despite being one of the most successful men of his generation.

Anushka and Virat recently returned to India after the Australia Test series.
