An Instagram reel of an elderly couple who frequent Thane railway station (near Mumbai) is winning the hearts of many people online. The video, which has received millions of views so far, has been shared by digital creator Siddhesh Lokre. In the video, the vlogger tells that someone had sent him a photo of the couple – Bhimrao and Shobha – at Thane station a few days ago. He later managed to track them down and interview them. He first asks them when they got married and the man tells the exact date. The woman tells that they have been together for more than four decades. After this the vlogger asks them how often they come to the railway station. The lady replies that they come every day and they also serve breakfast/dessert if someone has ordered it. We get a glimpse of some of their items, which include Chakli, Kachori, Bhakarwadi etc.
Responding to a question, Bhimrao also revealed that he had lost his eyesight when he was two years old. The vlogger highlighted that Shobha knew that she was marrying someone with no vision. He asks her about it and she smilingly declares that she is still married to him. They said that they always imagine themselves in each other’s shoes. Her husband says, “I am visually impaired. She has a deformed hand. We thought we would complete each other.” She adds, “We will be together for the rest of our lives.”
The vlogger asks the man how his wife helps him. He tells that she cooks food and serves water etc. He also helps her by cutting vegetables for her dishes. His wife wholeheartedly praises his cutting skills. Next, the vlogger asks the couple what love means to them. The man replies that they need each other, especially at this age. The woman admitted that they quarrel sometimes but they do not stay away from each other for long. “This is home. Dishes will collide but they will never break,” the man summarizes. The vlogger also asks them what they need at this time. Shobha explains that she needs a stall (for her goods) so that she does not have to stand most of the time to do her work. Finally, the vlogger asks the couple if they have any message for his/her generation (youth). Bhimrao says, “Hard work is everything. You cannot live only for yourself. If you have lived for others, you have truly lived.”

In the caption, the content creator wrote, “I found Bhimrao and Shobha near Thane railway station and what happened next was absolutely horrifying. Bhimrao is visually impaired and Shobha has a deformed hand, however, physical limitations prevent them from interacting with each other.” Could never stop living.” And growing as a family. They go to Thane station every day to sell calendars and chakli, laddu, bhakarwadi and other snacks. They are an example for me to realize what true love and companionship is.”
