Recently, the actor’s son Junaid Khan revealed that his parents realized that he has dyslexia after listening to the script of the film.

In a new interview with Vicky Lalwani on his YouTube channel, Junaid Khan shared that his dyslexia diagnosis was revealed when his parents, Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, heard the script of the critically acclaimed film Taare Zameen Par. They recognized similar symptoms in him and sought professional advice. Furthermore, since he was young when he started treatment, it did not have much impact on his life.

“When they heard the script of Taare Zameen Par, they were like, ‘One second… we’ve seen this in our lives.’ And in fact, it was at that time that they took me to a specialist, and I was diagnosed with dyslexia,” he shared.

Khan considers the early diagnosis and support of dyslexia as an important aspect that made his journey easier. He expressed gratitude for this and revealed that his parents were not strict about his academic performance in school or college because of this issue.

The 31-year-old actor said, “Neither of my parents were particular about my results… I was also diagnosed with dyslexia very early. So, I think they were conscious of it, Especially in school education.”

The actor will next be seen with Khushi Kapoor in Loveyapa and its first song has been released. Apart from this, the actor also has a day with Sai Pallavi in the pipeline.
