David Schwimmer recalls Matt LeBlanc ‘going gray’ during Friends live taping
Friends actor David Schwimmer shared a scary moment on the Friends set when his co-star Matt LeBlanc dislocated his shoulder during a live taping.

Friends actor David Schwimmer recently shared a “really frightening” experience from his time on the popular television sitcom, Friends. Schwimmer, now 58, recounted an incident involving his co-star Matt LeBlanc, who suffered a medical emergency during a live taping.
talking to Entertainment WeeklySchwimmer reported that LeBlanc was supposed to perform a pratfall during a live taping of the show, but she dislocated her shoulder. “He went completely white, and he stood up, and I could see his shoulder was out. Filming for Friends was halted and LeBlanc was taken to the hospital. The incident was first revealed during HBO Max’s Friends reunion, where it was noted that LeBlanc suffered the injury during the filming of the episode The One Where No One Is Ready.

After successfully filming the scene three times, LeBlanc slipped on the fourth attempt, resulting in injury. “I went to jump on the coffee table and somehow slipped. My legs went up in the air and my shoulder came out of the socket,” LeBlanc said.
The injury was later written into another episode titled The One with the Jam. Executive producer Kevin Bright noted that what was supposed to be a simple episode took the longest time to shoot due to this incident.
